Create a timeless and characterful interior with this medium-grade rustic engineered oak flooring from Tarkett Prestige range. Specially designed to mature naturally over time, this elegant oak plank develops the appearance of authentic period flooring, bringing depth, warmth, and heritage charm into any space.
The distinctive “Antique” brushing technique enhances the surface by softening and rounding the oak’s natural grain, creating a beautifully smooth texture reminiscent of weathered timber shaped by time and coastal elements. This artisan-inspired finish adds a unique tactile quality while highlighting the natural character of the wood.
Finished with carefully selected hardwax oils, the Prestige oak flooring enhances the richness of the grain while providing durable protection and a natural, breathable surface. The result is a timeless classic floor that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern performance, making it ideal for both contemporary and heritage-style interiors.
OK, so you have found the floor you want. So how much do you need to order, and how much will it cost?
It is best to get hold of a tape measure, paper and pen, and also maybe a calculator. Draw the shape of the room/s.
Pink Room (Rectangular Room)
If you have a rectangular or square room, measure length x width and multiply the two as shown here:
5m x 4m = 20m2
Green Room (L Shaped Room)
If you have an L-shaped room, divide it into two areas, then add the two together:
4 x 3 = 12m2
2 x 2 = 4m2
12 + 4 = 16m2
Blue Room (Irregular Shaped Room)
If you have an irregularly shaped room, divide it into multiple areas. Then add the areas together:
5 x 2.2 = 11m2
3 x 1.5 = 4.5m2
2 x 1 = 2m2
11 + 4.5 + 2 = 17.5m2
Bay Window
If you have a small angled area, such as a Bay window, multiply the maximum width by the depth:
5m x 1m = 5m2
