Scotia is primarily used to cover the expansion gap on the edge of a wood floor when the skirting board is to remain in place. This high-quality solid pine scotia trim is only 14mm x 14mm, so it blends softly into the visual appearance of the skirting board. Base-coated white it is ready for final finishing on installation, thus enabling you to achieve a seamless finish that looks like the trim is part of the skirting board. It can also be used against some external door frames as an economical alternative to solid edge moulding.
